Arbegona Bochesa

This lot is the Taste of Harvest Regional Competition Winner in the Natural Category for Ethiopia, by Tracon PLC. The Taste of Harvest competition is held annually across African producing nations by AFCA to highlight some of the best coffees of the season.

When we roast Arbegona Bochesa we get rose, ripe fruits and vanilla aromatics, this profile continues in the cup with a bright acidity that is supported by the high perceived sweetness of the coffee. The cup presents a complex & intertwined relationship between delicateness, clarity, and intensity. Delicate yet perceivable, clear yet balanced, intense yet with quality flavor separation. As it cools, the profile holds, and mouthfeel increases as more tasty solubles dissolve, leaving a sweet, fruity cup to finish- the sign of high quality raw material. Arbegona Bochesa is roasted light and can be enjoyed over many weeks post production, particularly beginning 3rd week from roasting.

We regularly taste mangoes and raspberries in this coffee as well, particularly brewed ice. This is a limited lot!
