Our first coffee of the season from Sidama is from the Bombe Kontema washing station, in Kontema sub-district.
Grown between 2100 – 2300 meters this coffee is bursting with sweet berries while presenting a bouquet of florals in the cup. Bombe village is a beautiful village with traditional handmade wooden doors and windows, with houses built on higher grounds because flooding is common; thanks to the high rainfall which constantly nourish the soils.
We love in this coffee its intensity and complexity. Brewed as immersion or filter, brewed hot or as it cools, this multi-faceted coffee presents a wild and delicious version of it every time. While we recommend it for filter, experienced specialty coffee drinkers can enjoy the bright fruits & flowers of this espresso with the creamy body it expresses in espresso.
